Artist's notes:
The basic concept is of five neurons (brain cells) linked together, forming a W (for Wikipedia). Neurons connect to form patterns of learning - also the links represent the basic concept of Wikipedia.
Created using Microsoft Paint under Windows XP Home. Font used is Kristen ITC, which may or may not be subject to copyright. I may eventually redo this under Photoshop (I have 4.0 for Mac but said Mac isn't working) - but anyone is free to redo this in a cleaner style.
The left-side image is 128x128 because 128 is a nice binary number (2^7). The right-side image is 128x80, which is slightly (a few pixels) smaller than the full neuron picture on the left. The reason is again that 80 = 5 * 2^5, the nearest "nice" number to the exact size.

- The imaged is placed under the GNU FDL, if someone else wants to redraw this in a better image creator. Geoffrey —Preceding undated comment added 18:39, 7 August 2003 (UTC).
