Requests for global (un)block

Please be sure to follow the instructions below: Your request might be rejected if you don't follow the instructions. Please also review Global blocking . Only IP addresses can be globally blocked at this moment. Please see #Requests for global (un)lock and (un)hiding if your request involves an account. Global blocks don't affect Meta-Wiki, so if your IP address is blocked, you can still appeal here. IP addresses that cause disruption on Meta should be reported at Meta:Requests for help from a sysop or bureaucrat instead of here so that they can be blocked locally. Please describe the kind of cross wiki abusive activity you see from the IP. Saying an IP is a long term abuser is not helpful, but saying "IP vandalizes at ban.wikipedia, no.wikipedia and vi.wikipedia" is. This is especially important for range blocks. If you do not provide enough details, your request might be declined. From what I can see, this IP belongs to a large telecom provider in Croatia and is more likely a P2P than an open proxy, and we do not block P2Ps for being proxies. That said, I will wait to see if Amanda or someone more skilled in this area than me can find something else that I didn't find, otherwise I'm closing this. EPIC (talk) 06:05, 18 May 2024 (UTC)

Sorry, I forgot to mention that I found this IP via simplewiki, and they have activity overlaps with w:simple:Special:Contributions/213.202.99.98 (already globally blocked) and possible lock evasion of Special:CentralAuth/Uriahshelton1. I recognize that many previous lock evasion cases of this type were done via proxy and I thought this was another case. MathXplore (talk) 08:47, 18 May 2024 (UTC)
