This page is for requesting CheckUser information on a wiki with no local CheckUsers (see also requesting checkuser access). Make sure to follow the following instructions, or your request may not be processed in a timely manner.

Before making a request:

  1. Make sure you have a good reason for the check. It will only be accepted to counter vandalism or disruption to Wikimedia wikis. Valid reasons include needing a block of the underlying IP or IP range, disruptive sockpuppetry, vote-stacking, and similar disruption where the technical evidence from running a check would prevent or reduce further disruption.
  2. Be specific in your reasons. Ambiguous or insufficient reasons will cause delays. Explain the disruption and why you believe the accounts are related, ideally using diff links or other evidence.
  3. Make sure there are no local checkusers.
  4. Please ensure that the check hasn't already been done:

Reason(s): All three accounts are already globally locked for the same behavior; cross-wiki posting of homophobic slurs. After an account lock, a new account is created and the abuse continues. New account names follow a similar pattern of multiple words creating a nonsensical phrase. The abuse involves posting the same homophobic slur, often on the new user's own page and also on other pages.

I believe all three are the same individual and this is global lock evasion by a long-term abuser. I requested a local Checkuser[1] on May 16. I also posted notices on both en.wn CU's the same day.[2], [3] There has been no response.

The account "Trade me away im the sore" is the most recent and popped up after my CU request at en.WN, so it was not included in the original request.

Just to clarify; yes, this is an LTA (see here). Based on the vandalism pattern and the data already gotten through LWCU, it's definitely the same user, so this is  Confirmed. Other than that, I'm noting that I have blocked some of the IP ranges they have used over the past couple of weeks and locked multiple of their accounts, but I don't think there is much else to do, as long as another steward doesn't think otherwise? If you believe they are any LTA and a global xwiki abuser, you can request their lock from SRG without having to go through this checkuser, and loginwiki checkusering can be made for them naturally. Therefore, it may be a more valid and appropriate method. --Sotiale (talk) 14:35, 22 May 2024 (UTC)[reply]
