Outcome

After Wikimania, i have created Wikimania notes 2016 page and then announced it in the village pump. I have also shared experiences with Comnunity User Group Turkey (WMTR) members during and after Wikimania through social media communications (Hangout sessions and Facebook chats).

Connections

During Wikimania, one of the most exciting connection for me was the meetup with participants from Turkic language wikis. It was made upon the request of Visem and wikipedians contributing Buryat, Bashkir, Sakkha, Uzbek, Sakkha, Turkish editions of Wikipedia have joined. I have learned many things regarding other languages and status of wikipedias at those languages.

I am very much glad to meet Giaccai on the first day of the conference. It's possible that we'll make a colloboration on translation of good English articles about Turkey and Turkish culture to Italian Wikipedia by providing a list of such articles to work on. Some turkish wikipedians have already been volunteered to help.

One furitful session was Education Disucussion where i met with experienced people on Education programs. I am especially glad to meet people from Wikimedia Israel which has many experiences on education programs.

It was also nice to meet with people from Wikimedia Armenia, who have encouraged me to register for Wikimedia CEE Meeting right away.

This was my first Wikimania but the second international wiki event. I was very much happy to see my Serbian and Macedonian friends that i have made at CEE WikiCamp 2015 in Macedonia.
