Discussion[edit]
1. PhilWiki Community has not responded to AffCom’s most recent email on AffCom Inquiry. The Board Chairman suggested putting on hold any activities connected to Reading Wikipedia in the Classroom including personal initiatives in the meantime. He also suggested amending the approved 2022 Annual Plan and removing the distribution of Reading Wikipedia booklets as one of the objectives under the Education program. Resolved, the distribution of booklets be removed from the activities.
- The President informed the Board that he has contacted his predecessor, Ralff Nestor Nacor (president, 2021-2022), regarding this concern and requested an update on the matter. Resolved: That the organization responds to the AffCom Inquiry via the incumbent President.
2. The proposed resolution for Program Committees is unanimously approved.
3. Other Matters: The incumbent Board Chair resigned from his post and as a Board member due to issues around Reading Wikipedia in the Classroom which affected the user group.
4. Other Matters: Affiliate contact persons. The Board assigned Juan Bautista H. Alegre (President) and Zyra Hila Balmes (Vice-Chairman assuming chairmanship) as the new contact persons for PhilWiki Community.
