@Miriam (WMF): Related to "External Image Sources" you can have access to more images if you consider all Wiki Loves Monuments submissions as part of the pool of eligible candidates for your classifier. These categories generally follow the pattern Category:Images_from_Wiki_Loves_Monuments_Year_in_Country where Year is the four-digit year of the contest (starting from 2010) and Country is the name of the country where the monument is in. For example, Iran's submissions in 2017 are uploaded in Category:Images_from_Wiki_Loves_Monuments_2017_in_Iran. If you need more data, we can ask people who know this space better to provide some input. And just to give you a sense, there is a lot of data you can get through that approach.
