DC[edit]

@YKo (WMF), @Xeno (WMF)You might want to explain what DC means. The Glossary says it means Datacenter. Also please clarify EG and MSG. Vexations (talk) 22:21, 9 April 2022 (UTC)Reply

Hey Vexations, We used some shorted word for faster notetaking during conversation hour.
  • DC stands for Drafting committee (UCoC Phase 2 Drafting committee)
  • EG stands for Enforcement Guideline that posted on January and which underwent ratification vote.
  • MSG stands for Movement Strategy and Goverance team at wikimedia Foudnation.
Hope this helps --YKo (WMF) (talk) 02:22, 10 April 2022 (UTC)Reply
@YKo (WMF)You may have noticed that I fixed it in the document itself. I know what those acronyms stand for, but generally, using jargon, acronyms or initialisms without clarification ought to be avoided: It is exclusionary and adds barriers to entry for new participants.
