Context
Afilianci będą głosować w wyborach w lipcu, by wybrać sześciu kandydatów. Każda organizacja afiliowana będzie miała prawo do jednego głosu. Głosowanie odbędzie się metodą Single Transferable Vote. Organizacje afiliowane powinny przedyskutować kandydatów, których chciałyby wybrać. Kandydaci powinni być uszeregowani w kolejności według preferencji.
The Affiliate Representatives were able to ask questions for the candidates to answer. Candidates published answers starting on June 24.
Aby pomóc w tym procesie selekcji, zostanie utworzony Analysis Committee.
Analysis Committee
Analysis Committee jest tworzony z afiliantów na przełomie kwietnia i maja. Analysis Committee składa się z 9 przedstawicieli afiliantów (w tym wszystkich chapter, user group i organizacji tematycznych) z regionów całego ruchu. Po jednym z:
- CEE (Central & Eastern Europe);
- ESEAP (East and Southeast Asia, and the Pacific region);
- Afryka Subsaharyjska
- Ameryka Łacińska i Karaiby;
- MENA (Middle East and North Africa);
- North America (USA and Canada);
- Północna i Zachodnia Europa;
- Azja Południowa;
- oraz z organizacji tematycznych.
There was no representative from the Northern and Western Europe or South Asia.
Proces wyboru członków Analysis Committee zostanie określony przez afiliantów, przy wsparciu Komisji Wyborczej i zespołu Movement Strategy and Governance, jeśli zajdzie taka potrzeba.
Analysis Committee ocenia kandydatów pod kątem umiejętności oraz kryteriów różnorodności, sprawiedliwości i integracji, które są wyznaczone przez Radę Powierniczą. Do oceny kandydatów Analysis Committee wykorzysta oświadczenia, które kandydaci umieszczają w swoim zgłoszeniu. Analysis Committee ocenia kandydatów według skali: złoty/srebrny/brązowy. Ocena ta zostanie wykorzystana do przekazania informacji organizacjom afiliowanym przy planowaniu głosowania. Szczegółowe oceny każdego z kandydatów nie będą udostępniane.
Po wybraniu sześciu kandydatów w procesie głosowania organizacji afiliowanych, oceny każdego wybranego kandydata zostaną opublikowane w celu poinformowania społeczności. Proces ten ma na celu znalezienie najlepszej równowagi pomiędzy dzieleniem się użytecznymi informacjami a minimalizowaniem niepotrzebnego narażania kandydatów.

Process
The Analysis Committee worked from late May to mid-June. Details of their meetings and process can be found on the Analysis Committee Discussions.
The Board Selection Task Force and the Elections Committee developed a set of evaluation criteria for the Analysis Committee to evaluate candidates against. The Analysis Committee members assessed candidates individually. Only two Movement Strategy and Governance facilitators who supported the process had access to these individual scores.

Each region will appoint 1 committee member in a transparent affiliate selecting process to form a 9 member Analysis Committee.
