Automoderator: Make fighting vandalism more easier for administrators and patrollers[edit]

Abstract/description[edit]

The Moderator Tools and Android teams at the Wikimedia Foundation are working on new features for administrators and patrollers. Automoderator will enable automated reverting of vandalism, and the Android app is adding a native patrolling tool to review new edits. This session is an opportunity to learn more about these features and to provide feedback and opinions about how they should be developed.

Relationship to ESEAP or to the theme[edit]

To create a better environment for sharing knowledge, collaboration within contributors are needed. The Indonesian Wikipedia is currently piloting both of these features, and we would like to invite other ESEAP communities to be involved. We want to engage and bring together the collaborative community of patrollers and administrators to discuss their needs for the future. We will also be shown a training task for Android which will support the development of newer patrollers to join the experienced editor community.
