Fiji-Hindi Community update[edit]

Abstract/description[edit]

During Wikimania Singapore 2023, I brought attention to the surprising discovery that the Fiji-Hindi community had shown minimal activity over the past decade. Notably, key community members had significantly reduced or ceased their contributions long before the onset of the COVID-19 pandemic. I am trying to find whether the community's limited engagement is due to potential issues such as inequity and exclusion in knowledge and resource sharing or community health concerns. I believe that similar communities, especially within the ESEAP region, may be facing analogous challenges. Since then, I've dedicated efforts to revitalize the community, and there have been noteworthy changes that I am eager to share.
