The Wikimedia Foundation’s Annual Plan Conversation with ESEAP[edit]

Abstract/description[edit]

The Wikimedia Foundation Annual Plan is the plan of record for the Wikimedia Foundation's work each year. These are scheduled for the Wikimedia Foundation's fiscal year, which starts on July 1 and ends on June 30 of the following year.

Each year the Wikimedia Foundation shares and discusses its draft annual plan with Wikimedians around the world (both on and off wiki, in a number of languages) and engages in a two-way dialog with volunteers and affiliates about our joint priorities for the next fiscal year. '

In continuation of the above approach, this session provides an opportunity for the movement in ESEAP to have a dialogue, discussion and deliberation on the Draft Annual Plan (2024-2025) that is presented to the communities annually by the Wikimedia Foundation (WMF). The session will be hosted by the senior leadership from WMF who will be attending the conference and will be a part of our Global approach and collaboration on the Annual Plan (2024-2025) The session will be open to both in person and virtual attendance (the virtual aspect will be delivered in consultation with the conference organizers).
