Editathons:Visibilizing disabilities in Nigeria (1.0)
As part of the Wiki for Minorities (WfMin) Disabili-Ties Programme, the project to carry out editathons between April and June 2024 seeks to advocate and include the Special Needs (individuals) in our global communities, especially in Nigeria and Igbo community by creating some new Wikipedia contents and improve Wikipedia related article pages. This is in collaboration with Wiki for Minorities third project on disability, which aims at inclusive and visibility of any minority group globally. This we would achieve via online conversation, online and physical trainings, edit-a-ton, translate-a-ton and photo walk. There is an edit-a-ton and translate-a-ton contests with prizes, the prizes would be determined in the course of the contest. There is cash prizes for the 1st -3rd editors and for the 1st -3rd translators. This project starts from 2nd April and last till 3rd June, 2024. There would be online follow-up after the contest.
