I currently serve as an advisor to Commons Photographers User Group, where I am supposed to provide support and guidance to the group. I was previously elected as a membership coordinator which I serve for 2 years.

6. What is the change you are trying to bring? What are the main challenges or problems you are trying to solve? Describe this change or challenges, as well as main approaches to achieve it. (required)

The change we are trying to bring is to get individuals without Wiki Loves Earth experience to create fresh account usernames to join in the contest. This will be a great change because it will attract professional photographers to contributed quality content to commons as part of the contest. The major challenge we might face is getting participants to upload the photos on time, and so we will organise 2 upload sessions in other to encourage participants to upload their photos before the end of the contest.

Kwameghana(Bright Kwame Ayisi) :- Will be leading this campaign

Abdul-Rahim Ziblim (Knowledge and philosophy) is a co-facilitator, volunteer, national service personnel, and wikimedian at the Tamale Wiki hub who is experienced in taking awesome pictures of natural landscapes.

Lookman Sunday Ibrahim (Ibrahim Achiri) is a deputy lead at the the Tamale Wiki hub who is experienced in organizing, training. 

Saani Yahaya (Pirate 064) is an experienced wikimedian from the Open Foundation West Africa and will be responsible for online training of volunteers and monitoring of the dashboard. 4 Volunteers will be selected as part of the Jury with the help of the Lead and Co-lead.

Anyone can join if they have a decent camera on their hands. Additionally, advertisements on social media will promote participation. In addition, there is a WhatsApp group created to keep previous participants and add new ones. To stay in contact with contestants after the contest, we will request their usernames on a form following the event. Follow-ups included.

Southern Sector: To learn more of new participants' involvement, to see how they can effectively contribute to Commons.

Northern Sector: We want to learn more about how Ghana's northern natural heritage may be showcased and amplified globally, hence elevating our significance, through learning from Africa's natural environments. We hope to gain knowledge on how the northern Ghanaian heritage sites can have a beneficial social impact and foster knowledge sharing in an open space under a free license.
