Edit Summary not Possible

I uploaded something 2 days ago, and was up until about 2 hours ago still able to edit the summary of my upload, However after I added a Reference to the summary it now lacks the [edit] button, I believe it has to do with me not knowing any better adding the reference to the top line in the source editor, any ways for me to fix this? — The preceding unsigned comment was added by Frislr (talk) 15:26, 1 June 2022 (UTC)

@Frislr: This is not the correct venue to ask, since you're at Meta-Wiki and not Wikimedia Commons or any of the Wikipedias; however, I'm answering anyway. You seems to have used the UploadWizard, which automatically gives you an edit summary. If you use this old upload form, you will be able to use an arbitrary edit summary. Hope that helps. Hello all. User:AliSabriartist and all of his puppets are trying to create an article on Ali Sabri on fr.WP. This user is blocked indefinitly on fr.WP but this night, some IP et puppets were filtered there 60 times in 8 hours... He tried yesterday to contact some user here to be unblocked on fr.wp. You can wtach too french abuse filters request. I think he could (and his puppets) be globaly blocked indefinitly to not bother users everywhere. I already requested at the Global blocks requests page to re-enable a local block on enwiki for this IP range, which the bot marked as done due to the already applied global block by Jon Kolbert, who hasn't replied to this request on their talk page. Request for Meta IPBE permission renewal

Last year, due to my inability to edit Meta Wikimedia pages through proxy services despite having Global IPBE exemption, I was granted 1 year of local IPBE exemption, but the 1 year exemption have expired and now I face the same problem again, hence I hereby request a renewal to my local IPBE exemption on meta.

Disruptive edit by Ruwaym

Hello. User:Ruwaym is blocked on fawiki and clearly has issues with that. But that doesn't allow him to generalize his problem and personal viewpoint to the entire project, and certainly does not justify making an edit like Special:Diff/23443152. I undid the edit but they undid it in Special:Diff/23449774. I don't think another round of undo is the right approach here, therefore I ask a Meta administrator to intervene. I need a bit more of context here. The quoted text on the talk page seems silly according to an online translator, but I'd prefer if NguoiDungKhongDinhDanh could weigh in if possible. In addition, I note the user is blocked on vi.wikipedia for (according to the same translator), playing with the system. @Xaosflux: When I tried to add {{delete}} on the first line of the file, Missing selector list at line 1 character 1. message in a red frame showed up every time I pressed "Publish changes". @Jdx: It is with CSS. User:Jdx/test.css's content model is CSS while that of Template:User talk:Jdx/styles.css is Sanitized CSS. Sanitized CSS pages (styling for pages) will be loaded for all users on pages they are transcluded, while CSS pages (styling for users) will only affect users who installed them. That may be the reason why sanitized CSS pages' linter seems to have much stricter condition comparing to normal CSS ones'. NguoiDungKhongDinhDanh 17:31, 29 June 2022 (UTC)

Request for MassMessage sender rights

Hello! I'm the coordinator of Decolonizing Wikimedia program at Whose Knowledge?. I'd like to reaching out to members of our User Group. In that role I wish to send global mass messages to members, and I'd like to have the MassMessage sender rights. I've created a distribution list with our members, and you can see here an example of the type of messages I'd like to send. @Xaosflux: More than 4000 pages, yes. They simply needs to be null-edited, which I did. There are ~1800 left, most are translations that can only be updated via the Translate extension.
