The Right to Vote[edit]

- "We apologize, but you do not appear to be on the eligible voter list. Please visit the voter help page for more information on voter eligibility and information on how to be added to the voter list if you are eligible".

- "Yes there are. The Elections Committee decides the voting eligibility. The eligibility guidelines are listed on the Community Voting page".

- Community Voting page does not have a description of who is included in the list of voters -_-. Тимстер (talk) 19:57, 29 August 2022 (UTC)Reply

How can the voting system determine the wiki origin of the voter?[edit]

I had more edit count on other wikis yet I was listed as a voter from id.wikipedia.org on the voter turnout statistics. Not that I mind but just curious on how the system determines it FenyMufyd (talk) 05:11, 4 September 2022 (UTC)Reply

@FenyMufyd you created the account at id.wikipedia.org accorrding to centralauth [1] that's what the statistic is based upon. Johannnes89 (talk) 12:47, 4 September 2022 (UTC)Reply

I should have the right to vote[edit]

I registered 16 years ago but cannot vote? (talk) 12:23, 4 September 2022 (UTC)Reply

@ see Wikimedia Foundation elections/2022/Voter eligibility guidelines or use this tool [2]: You didn't edit any WMF project during the past six months so you'r not eligible to vote. Johannnes89 (talk) 12:50, 4 September 2022 (UTC)Reply

So what? It's unfair. (talk) 13:26, 4 September 2022 (UTC)Reply

why? all elections across all Wikimedia projects have certain eligibility criteria, so does this election. apparently you didn't edit a single time for the past six years, there is no reason to allow inactive accounts to vote. Johannnes89 (talk) 14:59, 4 September 2022 (UTC)Reply

Stop putting banners when I can never vote[edit]

It seems like every year, you crank up the eligibility requirements so that they are just out of my reach.

You should stop putting the banner for people who are ineligible then. I remember one year being excited to vote in ArbCom or something like that, and that year of course the requirements went up slightly and I was below the cutoff. Mike Richardson (talk) 01:22, 5 September 2022 (UTC)Reply
